Ontario Cereal Crops Committee (OCCC) acts as the recommending body to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency for cereal variety registration in Ontario.

The OCCC also coordinates cereal performance testing, dissemination of the results and reviews cereal-related research to  facilitate its coordination.
